PRESCRIPTION UPDATE – As there will be no EPS (Electronic Prescription Service) from the 22nd of June in preparation for our GO LIVE date on the 30th of June, the POD will be altering your repeat prescribing medications accordingly (if you use the POD service). If you DO NOT use the POD your prescriptions will be delivered to Boots Jardine Crescent for you instead. Please continue to order your medication in the usual way
The following inforamtion has been provided by the Department of Health & Social Care – New symptoms to be are aware of are NEW CONTINUOUS COUGH OR FEVER OR LOSS OF/CHANGE IN TASTE OR SMELL. Everyone should self-isolate if they develop any of these symptoms. The individuals household should also self-isolate for 14 days as per the current guidelines and the individual should stay at home for 7 days, or longer if they still have symptoms other than cough or loss of sense of taste or smell. We have received an alert relating to a cervical screening text messaging scam. Some women are being contacted by text message, claiming to be from the call and recall service to advise they are overdue for screening. The message asks you to call a mobile number and provide personal details – These text messages are NOT from the NHS Cervical Screening Programme. Please DO NOT call the mobile number. The Action Fraud Line have been contacted
