Accurx - our online system
Accurx enables NHS based GP practices to offer online consultations to their patients. This allows patients to submit their symptoms or requests to their own GP electronically, and offers around the clock NHS self-help information, signposting to services, and a symptom checker.
This service is monitored during working hours only. (Monday to Friday: 8am to 6.30pm).
- All requests are reviewed during core working hours and will be actioned within an appropriate timeframe, depending on the clinical urgency and nature of the request.
- We may contact you if we require further information.
- Please do not call or submit another request for the same issue.
All clinical requests are reviewed by a doctor, who will decide the urgency of your request.
- If you need a same-day appointment, we will contact you today to arrange this.
- If you need a future appointment, you will receive a booking link or we will contact you to arrange this.
- If you only require advice or signposting to a more suitable service, the doctor will communicate this to you.
- If you are requesting a Fit Note, this will be reviewed and processed within 5 working days. Please note that Fit Notes can be backdated where appropriate.

How and when to use this service
