Diabetic Eye Screening Patient Portal
The patient portal is an online platform where patients can book, cancel and review their Diabetic eye screening appointments.
The patient portal will also allow patients to view their results as soon as they have been graded.
The patient portal uses NHS login which many patients have now set up since the closure of the POD service in March 2024.
Diabetic Retinopathy Service
The diabetic Retinopathy service have introduced a new portal for our diabetic patients to use. You will need an NHS login to access this portal. You will have an NHS login if you use the NHS App.
The portal will enable patients to book, cancel and review their Diabetic eye screening appointments as well as see their results once they are available.
Diabetes Prevention Programme
This Patient Information Session is an opportunity for you to attend a 30 minute remote session to hear more about the NHS Diabetes Prevention Programme. This will help support you in making an informed decision as to whether or not you'd like to be referred onto the programme following the session. You will also have an opportunity to ask any questions you might have about the programme.
The NHS Diabetes Prevention Programme is a free service for people with prediabetes and those with a history of gestational diabetes.
